How to Play this 100s Chart Game:

 
Press the RED ‘Play’ button below the timer on this 100s Chart Lesson and you are off. Your task is to find as many fairies as you can hiding on the hundreds chart. Look to the number below the word ‘find’ for a major ‘hint’ as to where they are hiding 😉 Click on the board with your magic wand to reveal a fairy. How many fairies can you find in a minute?
 

This Subtraction Game Aims to:

  • have students practice and develop Subtraction Strategies in an enjoyable way
  • give students a rich context for Number Talks
  • develop Number Fluency in students
  • provide students with an enjoyable way to practice Subtraction skills.

What You Need:

– 1 Electronic 100s Chart Game
– 1 or 2 students to play the game 

Possible Setups:

  • Project the game board onto your whiteboard as a whole class or tutorial group activity.
  • Set up the game on several desktop computers or laptops for paired small group work. 

Trouble Shooting: 

This game works great on PC & Mac computers in all browsers as well as on Android phones and tablets. Unfortunately, the game will not work properly on IPad or iPhone. #sorry #thanksMrJobs
