How to Play:

 
Press the RED ‘Play’ button below the timer and you are off. Your task is to deduce the number below the question mark on the pentomino. Click on the correct answer with your magic wand from the four options presented. How many work out in a minute?
 

Aims of this Pentomino Activity:

  • have students practice and develop Number Strategies
  • provide a rich context for Number Talks
  • develop Number Fluency & Pattern Recognition
  • have students enjoy practicing Numeration skills.

What You Need:

 
– 1 Electronic 100s Chart Game
– 1 or 2 students to play the game 
 

Possible Setups:

  • Project the game board onto your whiteboard as a whole class or tutorial group activity.
  • Set up the game on several desktop computers or laptops for paired small group work.

This game works great on PC & Mac computers in all browsers as well as on Android phones and tablets. Unfortunately, the game will not work properly on IPad or iPhone. #sorry #thanksMrJobs
